Email Integration
To send emails through your outreach campaigns, you first need to connect a mailbox to your Flowkon account. Once connected, Flowkon can send campaign emails using your mailbox and automatically track events such as email opens, clicks, replies, and bounces.
Important
Mailbox connections are user-based.
Each Flowkon user can connect and manage their own mailbox independently from the My Profile section. Connecting or disconnecting your mailbox will not affect other users in the workspace.
Currently, Flowkon supports:
- Gmail
- Custom SMTP
Available mailbox options
Gmail Integration
The easiest way to connect your mailbox is through Gmail OAuth authentication.
Simply select the Gmail tab and click Connect Gmail. You'll be redirected to Google to authorize Flowkon.
Once connected, Flowkon can:
- Send campaign emails from your Gmail account.
- Track email opens.
- Track link clicks.
- Detect replies automatically.
- Detect bounced emails.
If you ever need to change accounts, you can disconnect your existing Gmail mailbox and connect another one.
Custom SMTP Integration
If you use a business email provider or any mailbox that supports SMTP, you can connect it manually.
Select the SMTP tab and enter your mailbox details:
- Email Address
- SMTP Host
- SMTP Port
- Username
- App Password or SMTP Password
- Encryption Type (TLS, SSL, or None)
Flowkon securely encrypts your credentials and only uses them to send campaign emails.
Typical examples include:
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft 365 SMTP
- Zoho Mail
- cPanel Email
- Private mail servers
- Custom business domains

How does mailbox integration work?
After connecting your mailbox:
- Flowkon sends campaign emails using your connected account.
- Email engagement is monitored automatically.
- Opens, clicks, replies, and bounce events are recorded.
- Campaign automations can react to recipient activity.
Your mailbox remains connected until you choose to disconnect it.
Disconnecting your mailbox
You can disconnect your mailbox at any time by opening the Manage Mailboxes dialog and selecting Logout.
After disconnecting:
- New campaign emails will no longer be sent through that mailbox.
- Existing campaign statistics remain available.
- You can reconnect the same mailbox or connect a different one whenever needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect multiple mailboxes?
Currently, each user can have one Gmail mailbox and one SMTP mailbox configured in their personal profile.
Is the mailbox shared across my workspace?
No. Mailbox integrations are user-specific and only apply to your own account.
Are my credentials secure?
Yes. SMTP credentials are encrypted and stored securely. Flowkon only uses them for campaign email delivery and engagement tracking.
