What is prospect?

A Prospect is one of the core components of Flowkon. Every campaign requires a prospect list, so it is mandatory to create or select a prospect method before creating a campaign. Without a prospect, a campaign cannot be launched.

A user can either:

  • Create a new prospect list, or
  • Reuse an existing prospect list across multiple campaigns. The same prospect  list can be linked to different campaigns, but every campaign must have one search associated with it.

When creating a campaign, the user can enter campaign details such as the campaign name, description, or the event, product, or service they want to promote. However, the campaign cannot proceed until a prospect list is selected.

How does Prospect work?

A prospect defines the group of LinkedIn prospects that will be targeted in the campaign.

For example, if a user wants to target all members of company XYZ, they would first perform that search on LinkedIn. LinkedIn generates a search URL containing the search criteria. The user simply copies this URL and pastes it into Flowkon. Flowkon then uses this URL to identify and retrieve the matching LinkedIn prospects.

Flowkon supports multiple ways to create a prospect list:

  • LinkedIn Search – Paste a LinkedIn search URL generated from LinkedIn's standard search.
  • Sales Navigator Search – Paste a Sales Navigator search URL for more advanced targeting (requires a Sales Navigator account).
  • My Network – Target people from your LinkedIn network.
  • Event Search – Target attendees or members associated with LinkedIn events.
  • CSV Import – Upload your own list of prospects using a CSV file.
  • Find Prospects by Tags – Search using tags that have been assigned to users within Flowkon.
  • LinkedIn Group Search: Import prospects directly from a LinkedIn group by providing its group URL, allowing you to target eligible group members in your campaigns.
