What happens if I reach my LinkedIn connect with note reaches?
When you run a campaign with a Connect step that includes a personalized note, Flowkon sends connection requests with your message whenever LinkedIn allows it.
If your LinkedIn account reaches its Connection request limit, Flowkon does not stop or pause your campaign. Instead, it automatically sends the connection request without a note, ensuring your outreach continues without interruption.
LinkedIn limits the number of connection invitations that can include a personalized message. These limits are determined by LinkedIn and depend on your account type, activity, and other factors. Flowkon cannot modify or bypass these limits.
Note: Exact limits can differ by account age, acceptance rate, and LinkedIn policy. Flowkon adapts to what LinkedIn allows in real time.
What Flowkon does when the limit is reached
Here's what happens when your campaign reaches LinkedIn's Connect with Note limit:
1. Connect with Note is available
Flowkon sends your connection request with the personalized note you configured in your campaign.
2. Connect with Note limit is reached
Flowkon detects that LinkedIn is no longer allowing connection requests with a personalized note for your account.
Automatic fallback:
- The connection request is sent without a note.
- Your campaign continues running without interruption.
- The lead is still contacted.
- No manual action is required from you.
3. General connection limit is reached
If LinkedIn temporarily prevents your account from sending any connection requests (with or without a note), FlowKon pauses the Connect step for that lead and automatically reschedules it for when your account is able to send connection requests again.
Your campaign remains active—it simply waits and retries the action at the appropriate time.
How will I know a request was sent without a note?
You may notice this in:
Campaign activity / execution logs — the action completes as a connection request, but without the note text
LinkedIn — the invitation appears as a standard connection request (no message attached)
Dashboard quota — your connect-with-note capacity may show as used or exhausted for the current period
Flowkon does this silently on purpose so your outreach pipeline does not stall.
Will my follow-up messages still work?
Yes. In most cases, your follow-up messages will continue to work as expected.
If your campaign includes a Follow-up or If Connected step after the Connect step, those actions will run as configured once the connection request is accepted.
A connection request sent without a note can still be accepted just like any other LinkedIn invitation.
Note: If your workflow relies on the personalized connection note (for example, if a later message references the content of that note), keep in mind that some prospects may receive a connection request without the note if your Connect with Note limit has been reached. Consider writing follow-up messages that do not depend on the recipient having seen the initial note.
How long until connect-with-note is available again?
Flowkon tracks LinkedIn’s response and restores connect-with-note when your account is allowed to send again.

Use a strong, short note — Higher acceptance rates can help preserve your LinkedIn allowance.
Prioritize high-value prospects — Put your best prospects earlier in the campaign if you have a small monthly note quota (free accounts).
Consider LinkedIn Premium — Paid accounts get a much higher daily connect-with-note allowance.
Don’t worry about the fallback — Sending without a note is normal LinkedIn behavior and keeps your campaign moving.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Did Flowkon remove my note from the campaign?
No. Your campaign still has the note configured. Flowkon only skips attaching it for that specific invitation when LinkedIn’s limit is reached.
Q: Can I force Flowkon to always send with a note?
No. Flowkon follows LinkedIn’s limits to protect your account. Forcing notes when LinkedIn blocks them can trigger errors or restrictions.
Q: Can I force Flowkon to stop connecting when the note limit is hit?
Not by default. The automatic fallback is intentional so campaigns don’t stop mid-run. If you need stricter control, structure your campaign or contact support for guidance.
Q: Is sending without a note bad for my account?
No. Standard connection requests without a note are a normal, allowed LinkedIn action and are generally safer than pushing past LinkedIn’s limits.
Q: Why did one prospect get a note and another didn’t?
Connect-with-note is tracked per LinkedIn account over time. Earlier propects in a run may get notes; later ones may fall back to no note once the limit is hit.
